Gertrude Martin, known as Aunt Gertie to so many of us, needs mention too. She met the Lazarus clan in 1920. To quote Aunt Mimi, "She was one of the finest persons on this earth".
She was born Gertrude Rosenberg on August 19, 1901, in Preston England. Moved to California in 1920. Died on June 29, 1986.
